35+ and still chirping.

Competitive-ish. Fun guaranteed.

Player Board

Stat lines with a little more personality than the usual leaderboard.

Top scorers, penalty magnets, and the weekly veteran nod. Numbers matter. So does tone.

From The Room

Announcements, recaps, photos, notes, and whatever else belongs on the board.

Stay up to date with the latest from the league room. Or don't... Whatever, I'm a website not your mom.

Geezers,

Registration for the Spring 2026 GHL season is open! Here’s what you need to know:

Registration Windows
  • Returning players only: Early registration will be open through March 19th. (“Returning” = played at least one GHL season before.)
  • New players: Registration opens March 20th and stays open until rosters are full (first come, first served).
  • Registration closes March 28th. Players who register late may not be placed on a team if rosters are full.

Note: If you’re new and register before March 20th, your registration will be cancelled.

New Player Evaluation
  • If space allows for new players, we will have an Evaluation Skate on March 22nd at 5:30 PM.
  • This session is mandatory for new players and includes basic drills + open hockey.
  • Please email me if you plan to attend.
League Fees
  • Cost: $250 (single payment).
  • Deadline: Must be paid before the draft on April 1st — unpaid players risk losing their spot.
  • Payment options: Credit Card / Venmo / PayPal (after registering on geezerhockey.com) or check (payable to “Geezer Hockey League” and dropped off at the Steel Ice Center west rink box).
Divisions
  • Expect to have 3 divisions with 4 to 6 teams per division.
  • Your requested division will be considered during registration, but final placement is based on evaluation and balance across divisions.
Registration Requirements (all must be completed)
  • Online registration via geezerhockey.com
  • Valid 2025/2026 USA Hockey number (get your number)
  • Payment in full (PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card, or Check)
  • No outstanding balance from prior seasons
Season Details
  • Starts:April 12th
  • At least 9 games with an extra game for teams playing in Championship Games
  • Primarily Sundays, with start times between 3 PM – 9 PM, depending on rink availability and league size.
  • Games will not be rescheduled — if a team cannot field enough players, it will result in a forfeit (ice will remain available for scrimmage).

Looking forward to another great season!
